I make quiet, tactile things — maps, bookplates, stationery and the occasional very stubborn poster. This page is my profile sheet: a short introduction, the facts worth keeping, and a simple way to get in touch.
After a decade in editorial design I traded a glowing screen for a cast-iron press and a studio that smells of ink and mineral spirits. I still draw every morning, but most of my work now ends up pressed into cotton paper, one sheet at a time.
I care about small print runs, honest materials, and things made to last a little longer than a trending font.
Good work is unhurried. It is measured in sheets, not in likes.
Everything on this page lives in two files. index.html holds the words and the structure; style.css holds the colours, type and spacing. Open the HTML file in Notepad, change a name or a sentence, then save and refresh your browser.
The facts column on the left is a definition list (<dl>), the two columns are made with display:flex, and the phone layout is controlled by the @media rule near the bottom of the stylesheet. Short comments mark every section of the CSS, so you can find your way around quickly.
Open to editorial work, workshops and friendly questions.
