Midnight is a quiet corner of the web. It is dark enough to read at two in the morning and calm enough to think in, with a single blue accent doing all of the pointing so that nothing has to shout.
About
This page belongs to a person, not a product. Replace this paragraph with a few honest sentences about yourself — what you make, what you are reading, or simply where you are writing from. Short and specific always beats long and vague.
Even the busiest day ends. The dark hours are where the quiet work gets done.
Notebook
A small record of things worth remembering. Keep the dates, swap the titles for your own:
- September 2026Notes on a slow morning
- August 2026What the night taught me
- July 2026Three books, one long train
Projects
List the things you are proud of here. One sentence each is plenty, and it does not need to be tidy — a short, true list reads better than a long, padded one. If you are just starting out, write down the small things too.
Colours
Midnight uses only five colours, then repeats them everywhere. The trick to a dark page is not more colour — it is fewer colours used with confidence. Soft grey text sits on a near-black page, and one blue marks anything you can click:
- Night #0a0e15
- Sheet #121a26
- Edge #243040
- Text #c6cdd9
- Blue #5aa9e6
How to use this template
Open index.html in Notepad and type over any of the words. Everything you can see — the colours, the spacing, the fonts — lives in style.css beside it. Change one of the hex colours near the top of that file and reload the page to watch the whole design follow. That is the whole workflow: edit, save, refresh.
