Layouts that read well on a phone first, then grow up to a desktop.

I build quiet, quick-loading pages for people who have something honest to say — a writer with a new book, a baker with a new shop, a small team that would rather be clear than loud.
Everything on this page is plain HTML and CSS. There is no framework, no JavaScript and not a single image file, so it opens on any computer and loads before you can blink.
Layouts that read well on a phone first, then grow up to a desktop.
Hand-written, commented code your next developer can actually follow.
Accessible colour, sensible spacing, and pages that age slowly.
A good homepage answers three questions fast: who you are, what you do, and how to reach you.
Open index.html in Notepad and type over any
of the words you see. The colours, fonts and spacing all live
beside it in style.css, split into short,
labelled sections. The amber note in the corner is placed with
position: absolute; on a phone it drops back into
the normal flow so nothing is ever hidden.
